More than 2,000 students from 10 Brisbane schools will have access to free ballet workshops, delivered by Queensland Ballet in partnership with Transurban Queensland.
More than fostering a love of pirouettes and tutus, involvement in the arts from an early age allows kids to become creative thinkers and develop improved social skills. Aligning closely with the school curriculum, the workshops also provide a fun and unique environment for kids to develop their numeracy and literacy skills outside the classroom.
The workshops are being offered to schools located along our Brisbane toll roads and will include students ranging from kindergarten to year 12.
