We well and truly smashed our Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland (RMHC SEQ) fundraising target, raising a total of $250,000 through our online appeal.
Thanks to the generosity of our business partners, suppliers and employees, Transurban Queensland will fund RMH’s emergency accommodation and family room within the Queensland Children’s Hospital for a further 12 months.
Around 800 families use this accommodation every year when their child is critically ill in intensive care.
As a major supporter of RMHC SEQ over the past eight years, we have now raised more than $1.27 million to fund the critical services RMHC provides.
This is an amazing achievement in the current environment and with the cancellation of our usual charity day fundraising event.
