We’re working with our partner The Salvation Army to help Salvo staff train as financial counsellors during these difficult times.

Our scholarships to study a Diploma of Financial Counselling will not only make it easier for Salvation Army employees to achieve this important qualification, but will ultimately help to ensure there are more financial counsellors available to support our communities in the aftermath of bushfires, floods and the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Now more than ever we are going to need strong community support services, to help keep our communities strong.

See how our scholarships are helping Denice and Bonnie get where they want to go.

This is just one of the ways we are supporting The Salvation Army to better support our communities.

Our partnership also includes supporting the Drive for Life Program, which helps young people develop life skills and safe driving practices, while working towards getting their drivers licence in a supportive environment.

We also work closely with The Salvation Army and other financial counsellors to inform the services and informational materials we develop to support our customers experiencing social and financial hardship.
